This car was a 3-time winner in 1997, formerly driven by Dale Earnhardt Sr. and owned by Richard Childress.
The Wheaties Car placed 3rd at Charlotte in 1997.
The day of ownership transfer of these vehicles to Rob was the 2001 Daytona 500, in which Dale Sr. was to hand-sign the vehicles after the 500 for Rob. Unfortunately this did not transpire due to Dale Sr.'s premature, untimely demise. Dale Sr. will forever be in our hearts!
